WORK IN PROGRESS: Tomorrow Relies on Yesterday

Tomorrow Relies on Yesterday is the story of a woman who is working to come to terms with death: the death of her son overseas in war and the death of her marriage, and learn to live and love again.

This was my National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) project, but the story had been rattling around my mind for about three years, never gelling onto paper.

Now is it's time.

Yeah, I completed the 50,000 word minimum requirement from NaNo.

Just this week (March 4 - 8), I registered for the UW Madison Writer's Institute and signed up to pitch the novel, twice.

Now I have to complete the revision and editing process.

After sitting at the UW Madison Writer's Institute, I realize that what I thought I had edited is only somewhat edited. I have a great deal more work to do on the manuscript.

Pitched to the two agents. I was told by each that the pitch was good but that it wasn't the sort of piece that either one was looking for.
